Filament Spectrum PET-G Premium

Filament Spectrum PET-G Premium is, next to PLA, one of the most popular materials for 3D printing. A very important advantage of PETG is the practically zero shrinkage factor and low moisture absorption compared to other thermoplastics used in FDM / FFF 3D printing. Parts printed from PET-G maintain the stability of properties for a long time of use. Filament Spectrum PET-G Premium combines the most desirable features of PLA and ABS.
Elements manufactured with the use of transparent Spectrum PET-G Premium colors are characterized by a large proportion of the crystalline phase, which makes it possible to obtain an effect close to transparency with a small number of external contours, incrementally produced elements. The base material and the pigments used for the production of Spectrum PET-G Premium are approved for contact with food.

Among other properties that characterize Spectrum PETG, good creep resistance under constant load conditions should be mentioned. This is possible thanks to the connection between the layers of the applied material. This results in a much lower anisotropy of the mechanical properties in the manufactured parts and means that the mechanical properties vary to a lesser extent in different production directions compared to other thermoplastics intended for 3D printing.
