Phosphorescence effect

Spectrum PLA Glow in the Dark is a PLA-based filament doped with a concentrated phosphorescent pigment that causes photoluminescence, or more precisely, phosphorescence. This phenomenon makes it possible to glow with its own light after irradiation with an external light source. The material has all the characteristics of pure PLA. The pigment has a neutral effect on the properties of the material.

Doping PLA with a phosphorescent pigment allows you to achieve the following properties of the manufactured elements:

    the ability to shine with its own light after prior exposure to an external light source
    the possibility of a kind of "regulation" of the luminous intensity of the manufactured elements by controlling the thickness of the walls and the density of the filling
