PC/PBT (HT-UV-IMPACT) is a filament for industrial and automotive applications. The material has been modified for impact strength and resistance to high temperatures, as well as filled with an anti-UV stabilizer. Adding polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) to Polycarbonate means less deformation on 3D printed parts than on a pure PC.
The material is easier to print than PC and most popular PC/ABS blends, does not emit unpleasant odors during printing, is characterized by relatively low shrinkage, as for this group of materials (up to 1%) and very good adhesion to the table. Great mechanical properties, very good impact strength and elasticity, while being able to use in outdoor conditions (UV resistant) and the ability to work at a relatively high temperature (90-110C) make it a great construction material with a wide range of applications. Both in terms of impact strength and temperature resistance, the material performs better than the popular PET-G and ABS, while it is easier to print than PC and PC-ABS material.
Filament can be printed on both direct and Bowden printers. It is recommended to close the chamber. In case of problems with adhesion, it is recommended to use adhesive preparations.
