PVA filament is a water-soluble thermoplastic. It is ideal as a support material in complex prints made of other plastics (e.g. PLA, PET-G, TPU, PA).
After printing, it is enough to immerse the model in warm water (but with a temperature not exceeding the heat deformation temperature of the filament, from which the correct part of the print is made). Depending on the amount of PVA filament consumed, the water bath can take from a dozen minutes to several hours. Mixing water in the tank may speed up the process of dissolving the supports.
PVA should be printed at low temperatures, in an open printer and on an unheated table.
Attention! Filament is characterized by high hygroscopicity. It should be stored in a bag or container with a moisture absorber. Storage of material away from sunlight and between 15°C and 25 °C°C will extend its service life.
