Spectrum PP is a new material based on unfilled polypropylene copolymer in a natural color. It has good mechanical properties combined with exceptional chemical resistance and low density. The Spectrum PP filament shows better layer bonding, thanks to which it reduces the anisotropy of the final printed part. A characteristic feature is low moisture absorption, not more than 0.3%.

In addition, Spectrum PP is characterized by high flexibility (elongation to break - 500%), impact resistance and a reduced moment of inertia compared to metal parts. The use of PP allows for relatively high resistance to thermal aging, good tribological properties, also in conditions of dry friction, encountered in plain bearings, and good impact strength.

Very attractive from a technical point of view, the properties of the PP filament can be achieved by observing the basic rules for storing this type of material (in a dry and dark place with a humidity of less than 15%). In order to obtain the best parameters of the printed object, it is recommended to dry the material before starting work.

Tip: It is recommended to use a heated build chamber for printing. For better adhesion with the working platform, it is recommended to use Magigoo PP.

Filament wound on a transparent, designer spool. On the spool there is information about the type of material, diameter and recommended printing temperature. Each spool vacuum packed with desiccant. All in an original Spectrum Filaments foil-wrapped cardboard box.
